ORGANIZATION: Interim Hospice of Oakland County

Interim Home Health and Hospice is a full-service hospice that supports a person’s quality of life when time is limited. We provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to those who are terminally ill, and those that love and care for them. Our hospice is located in Novi, Mi. However, our service territory includes Wayne, Oakland, and parts of Livingston counties. As member of our Hospice team, volunteers have a tremendous impact on the lives of the patients and families we serve. Consider joining our team as an art therapist! This volunteer would be responsible for providing and creating art projects with patients, families, and bereaved clients, as well as for patients and bereaved clients. This volunteer would be responsible for planning and executing the art projects, in coordination with the Volunteer Coordinator, and be willing to visit patients and families in their homes, as requested. Individuals must be at least 18+ years of age, and be willing to complete the required onboarding and training requirements. For more information, please contact Lisa Gardner, Volunteer and Bereavement Coordinator, at ligardner@interimhealthcare.com, or by phone at (248) 629-0303 (cell) or (248) 553-3333 ext. 101.
