This Part-Time Volunteer position as the Volunteer Coordinator for APDA Northwest. Plays a crucial role in overseeing volunteer activities in our Seattle-based/Northwest region Chapter. Use your relationship-building skills, passion for non-profits, and creativity to help build a volunteer program at the American Parkinson Disease Association’s NW Chapter. This is a flexible position and can work around your schedule. Remote and in-person work allows for flexibility. Bring your ideas and experience and help us build our community. If you’re passionate about making a difference and enjoy working with people, this role is perfect for you.

  • 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
    This is a flexible position and can be a combination of in-person and remote. You can set the hours that work best for you.

Description

The American Parkinson Disease Association is the country's largest grass roots organization serving the Parkinson's community.

Our core programs serve the Parkinson's community through education, support, and research. We provide education for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, as well as access to information and resources. We support our community through assistance programs like APDA Ride Ride Repay and the Caregiver's Day Off program. We strengthen the support group network and fund local activity classes. Lastly, we fund local research into the cause and cure for Parkinson's.
