The free youth futsal (indoor soccer) program at Garfield Community Center is growing rapidly, and we need volunteers to help our kids develop their skills and strength. Assistant Coaches will support our Recreation Leader by leading and helping with drills, working 1:1 with students in need of individualized attention, managing equipment, overseeing breaks and more. Knowledge of Futsal rules and best practices is essential; creativity, patience, teamwork, and a love of teaching are ideal qualifications.

Volunteers are asked to help out at least two weeks per month, for either a 2-hour or 4-hour shift. We ask that you commit to engaging with the youth in a positive, respectful and encouraging way, bringing your excitement for futsal, and showing a passion for building up our community. Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Garfield Community Center!
