The free youth indoor soccer program at Garfield Community Center is growing rapidly, and we need volunteers to help our kids develop their skills and strength. Coaches lead drills, work 1:1 with students in need of individualized attention, manage equipment, oversee breaks and more. Knowledge of soccer rules and best practices is essential; creativity, patience, teamwork, and a love of teaching are ideal qualifications.
Volunteers are asked to help out quarterly on Saturdays, for a 2-hour per week. We ask that you commit to engaging with the youth in a positive, respectful and encouraging way, bringing your excitement for soccer, and showing a passion for building up our community. Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Garfield Community Center!
