Join our team as a volunteer loader for DoorDash delivery drivers at our facility. By dedicating your time and effort to this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring efficient and timely delivery of essential grocery items to those who need it most.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of fellow volunteers to efficiently load grocery items into the vehicles of DoorDash delivery drivers, ensuring that items are accurately matched with delivery orders.
- Prioritize the loading of groceries destined for elderly, disabled, and food-insecure individuals, recognizing the critical importance of these deliveries in meeting their basic needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for all team members, while also ensuring the safe handling of perishable and non-perishable items.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders and drivers to coordinate loading schedules, address any logistical challenges, and uphold the high standards of service expected from our community initiative.

Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry boxed items of varying weights up to 50 lbs, adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury and ensure the safe handling of items destined for delivery.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a keen focus on accurately matching items with delivery orders to meet the specific needs of recipients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating respect and consideration for fellow volunteers and the individuals we serve.
_Ability to pack and label boxes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately, while also proactively addressing any challenges or concerns that may arise during the loading process.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and protocols at all times, recognizing the importance of maintaining a secure and supportive environment for all involved in our community service initiative.
