Mission Statement

No. 85 mission is to promote animal safety for a healthy and secure living environment; Provide an alternative burial service for deceased stray animals, instead of landfill dumping; Provide animal resources to help keep animals in-home, instead of surrender. Our mission is also to serve as a model for other states to implement an mandatory AMET Animal Rescue Ambulatory Services dispatched along with fire department and on call. AMET's need to be there in case of emergency, just as humans are provided assistance, this includes but not limited to, sick or injured animal transport to veterinary 24/7, abuse reports, fire, flood or domestic violence incidents.
