Cards2Warriors is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to communicate with our volunteers, help onboard them, and monitor their progress on their various projects.
Applicant should be organized, outgoing and personable... and must love cheering and encouraging others as most of our volunteers live with a chronic illness or rare disease and need extra support when their illness flares!
Applicant must be comfortable working with spreadsheets, emailing, texting and using WhatsApp for communicating with volunteers.

Our mission is to send 100,000 cards of love + cheer to isolated illness warriors around the globe, thus providing hope and encouragement to positively affect their mental and emotional well-being as they navigate their health odyssey .
Description
Snail mail is our jam! We facilitate the sending of cards full of hope and encouragement to patients (we call them warriors;) across the USA and around the globe! We do this primarily via our cards2warriors program and the Warrior Card Swap.
Additionally, we provide virtual volunteer opportunities for employee teams, high school students across Florida, illness warriors who are seeking purpose, and kids/teens/adults who loves to color and make cards! :)

- The time required will vary by the number of new and current volunteers. Average is probably 1-2 hours per week. We ask that you commit to volunteering with us for a minimum of one year so that we can have continuity. Thanks!
