We have a fabulous team program where your group can write and send personalized cards to our illness warriors. Any group size is welcome. Volunteer one-time or multiple times per year. Our Cards2Warriors program welcomes college students looking for virtual volunteer opportunities that make a difference in the lives of those living with long-term illness, rare disease, disability, LongCOVID, etc. Students can make or write cards for illness warriors. Volunteer alone or bring a group. We are also looking for students to help with research, outreach, social media, and content creation. All positions are virtual. Students must have good communication and writing skills, a heart for helping those who live with an illness. Spots are limited each semester. Do you love crafting the perfect pitch? Are you a press release junkie? Do you enjoy building relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, podcasters... media professionals? If so, we'd love to connect! Chronic Warriors Org is seeking a media relations or PR specialist to assist us in connecting to media outlets worldwide so that we can share the stories of our illness warriors, garner attention for our card programs - our Cards2Warriors program and our Warrior Card Swap so that we can let more illness warriors know about these free resources, and entice donors that align with our mission! Applicant should have experience (or be an enthusiast self-starter who loves researching and learning new things)... and have a current list of connections for press releases, journalists/media to pitch stories, along with the heart to help those living with chronic illness, rare disease, disability, long-COVID, and those who remain undiagnosed. We're on a mission to send 100,000 cards by the end of 2023!! This crew is open to any volunteers worldwide. Crew Members must commit to sending at least one card per month for 12 months.
