Endeavors assists Veterans and their families with a multitude of services ranging from homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing, employment services, mental health care and military life transition assistance for veterans and their families. The Cohen Military Family Clinic in El Paso, TX is currently seeking Peers to volunteer their time interacting with clients who are experiencing mental health disorders. If you are looking to help clients gain a renewed sense of community and strengthen bonds with others through shared experiences then this is a great opportunity for you.

We are looing for individuals who meet the following criteria:

:

  • Currently living with or is taking care of someone with a mental health disorder
  • Experience navigating with mental health care
  • Preferred someone with experience in facilitating groups or interested in facilitating groups
  • Military affiliation - prior service, active duty, or spouse/caregiver.
  • Can commit to 2-3 hours Monday - Friday, or as needed for after hour events as well (evenings, weekends)
  • Ability to comprehend, read, write in English
