About the Refugee Resettlement Program: Endeavors opened the Refugee Resettlement Program in 2024 and welcomes overseas refugees and other ORR-eligible populations by working directly with cleients and their US based families for up to one year after their arrival time to ensure that their hosuing meets their familly, cultural, and geographic needs. Endeavors provides rental assistance, food and clothing support, case management, and connects these families to vital social services including school, medical and mental health services, food stamps, employement and other assistance as appropriate. About Volunteering: Endeavors is seeking volunteers to support our Refugee Services team with various tasks. The volunteer role provides a unique opportunity to work alongside case managers and the Refugee Resettlement team in delivering essential services to newly arrived refugees in Austin, TX. Volunteers needed for various roles such as: Providing support in delivering cultural orientation sessions to refugee families Assisting case managers in scheduling appointments and coordinating logistics for families Using personal vehicle to provide transportation to appointments for clients when needed Helping with transition services for clients Helping clients with bus orientation Helping with job readiness training and digital literacy Completing various administrative tasks Qualifications: Must be able to pass a background check and posses a current, valid driver's license and vehicle insurance Committment to Endeavors' volunteer policies Preferred background in Social Work or related field Demonstrated passion for imigrants rights, social justice, and a committment to helping newcomer families transition to life in the U.S. Shifts can vary depending on needs of clint

About the Volu n teer Opportunity: The Fairweather Family Lodge at Endeavors is seeking a volunteer to help with the 2025 Summer Camp which hosts kids from ages 4 - 16. You will be responsible for helping with the camp and working with the kids on various projects. You will be a consistent mentor and gain experience all while having fun! You will be able to research, create and implement summer camp projects and programming as well as leading small group activities. The summer camp is held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from July 1 - July 31 from 12:45pm - 3:30pm each day. At the Fairweather Family Lodge, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with leading experts in the field and gain experience working with kids and a curriculum. This position is a perfect opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and learn about educational programming for children. Volunteer projects are designed to benefit both the program and the compliment the volunteer’s own interests, skills and experience. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is pursuing or has a degree in Social Work, Education, Kinesiology, Early Childhood Development, Counseling or Public Health. About Fairweather Family Lodge: Endeavors operates the Fairweather Family Lodge (FFL) which provides supportive housing for single mothers with disabilities who have experienced chronic homelessness. FFL provides case management, professional counseling, life skills training and employment opportunities. FFL houses the women and children in the program in an effort to help them achieve a life full of stability, success, and self-sufficiency.

Endeavors and Onward Ops have partnered to provide vital services and resources for active duty members transitioning to civilian life. You can join our mission to prevent suicide and help new veterans thrive by becoming a Tranisiton Support Program sponsor. About the program: Endeavors' Transiiton Support Program connects new veterans with a sponsor in their community to support them as they settle back into civilian life. Sponsors assist veterans in utilizing valauble resources such as VA benefits, job support, housing assistance and more.
