The EMPACT One Foundation seeks a coordinator to help manage the fast-paced food pantry which provides food directly to clients on a weekly basis. You will collaborate daily with the Executive Director managing the operations of the business. Part-time - 20 hours per week.

Duties:

· Management of the daily food distributions including organizing the pantry for distribution, determining best food choices, and amounts for each family.

· Manage storeroom workers to assure daily tasks are accomplished. Must have the ability to see what needs to be done and assign or complete the task in a timely fashion.

· Must be comfortable managing a diverse group of coworkers including older workers.

· Uphold the food program’s mission by interacting thoughtfully and respectfully with pantry clients and volunteers.

· Collaborate with the Executive Director or assigned supervisor on daily tasks.

· Assist with intake of clients. Must be comfortable learning food-pantry specific software and interacting with clients during intake.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple ongoing projects at the same time.

· Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and time management skills

· Prompt reporting of any issues within the food pantry operations including food, clients, volunteers, and equipment to the Executive Director.

· Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.

· Other duties as assigned.

EMPACT functions to serve the local community and further recognizes the need for partnerships, networking, accountability, community service, program availability, and resource facilitation.

The overriding purpose of EMPACT One Foundation is to build, support, and empower the local community and to empower local citizens to EMPACT their local communities through their collective desire to serve all in need without prejudice and discrimination.
