Event Volunteer
"Treasures for TIHAN" Fundraising Event
Reports to: Executive Director
Overview of Position: Event volunteers assist with TIHAN’s largest fundraising event, Treasures for TIHAN, which includes an auction. Volunteers help with setup, room decoration, registration/check-in, auction support, event photography, check-out, transport, and more. Volunteers receive support from other members of the team and will have unique opportunities to connect with members of our community.
Benefits to the Volunteer: Experience the opportunity to create a fun and successful nonprofit fundraising event. Gain experience working on a team and developing skills in events.
Specific Tasks:

Time Required: Most shifts are 3 hours.
Qualifications/Experience:
Friendly, outgoing and welcoming demeanor. Attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

TIHAN is a non-profit located in Tucson, Arizona that provides services to people living with HIV/AIDS to empower them to live well. Our mission is to use education and support to reduce stigma and sustain hope for people living with HIV. Our main values are education, service, and advocacy.
