Description
We are a nonprofit family company that helps connect families and individuals with developmental disabilities with our friendly professionals. We offer social services, namely, companionship services for disabled and elderly persons, and dementia patients.
We have services handled by our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in: Supported Employment, Pre-Vocational Training, Community Inclusion Services, Individual Supports, Career Planning, Community Based Supports (CBS), Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy; working with people with and without disabilities (such as autism) for adult individuals in the NJ DDD program.

I believe friendly connections wasn’t so friendly. I worked there for about 3 weeks under the impression this job was a great fit! I soon found out that the only Position I qualified for was a over worked position with no direction, but false directions. Communication was hard because you wouldn’t get a response within 24hrs all the time. One particular quote from and email from one of the owners was.. WORK IS AVAILABLE! Which in my case it wasn’t. My feet wore sore for days and they showed no remorse, I was working with a client at their job , and I was not hired to assist in handling packages, standing in hard floors, traveling by machinery and lifting heavy items. No other position made sense with 2 days out the week in far locations just disgusting and wished I never applied , waste of time. The next client was in an area where traveling there was, different hoops and loops and let’s not forget 5-8 then 10-4 with no real break , I can go on and on but the heartache & stress
