Use your talents and passion to sew to improving the quality of life for others! Hackensack Meridian Hospice provides Memory Bears to family members as part of our bereavement services. Patients’ clothing such as a favorite shirt is transformed into a comforting family keepsake. Families can literally hold onto cherished memories of their loved one in the form of a huggable Memory Bear or Pillow.
Experienced seamstresses with at least an intermediate skill level are needed to create memory projects. HMH Hospice provides the pattern and supplies. We will make all arrangements to drop off supplies and pick up projects. All we need from you is your time and talent.

Our longevity reflects our excellent and sensitive care for patients including Veterans and individuals of diverse orientations, backgrounds, financial status and diagnoses. A member of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, we are a not-for-profit organization which serves patients who reside in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The time and talent that volunteers give helps Hackensack Meridian Hospice provide compassionate and quality care to our patients and families.
