The Gentiva Hospice Nursing Home Volunteer would be committed to visiting with all of our patients within the assigned nursing home. The volunteer coordinator will do their best to get you as close to your home as possible. This volunteer will be a companion to our patients spending at least one hour a week with them. Activities can range from painting nails ( where appropriate), watching tv and movies, snack & chat, bird watching, reading books, listening to music, or just sitting there and being a listening ear, etc. The list goes on.

We can't change the outcome but we can start where we are and change the journey!
