Are you passionate about arts and crafts and looking for a fulfilling way to contribute to your community? Join us as a Senior Arts and Crafts Volunteer! As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to engage with seniors in creative activities that promote self-expression and artistic exploration.

Volunteers are responsible for:

  • Setup and cleanup of arts and crafts materials and supplies
  • Engaging participants in creative projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants feel encouraged to express themselves through art.
  • Collaborating with staff to plan and implement engaging arts and crafts activities.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of participants during arts and crafts sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for arts and crafts and a willingness to share your skills and enthusiasm with others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a budget and plan activities effectively.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in adapting arts and crafts projects to suit the needs and preferences of seniors.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience working with seniors or in a similar volunteer role is a plus but not required.

Time Commitment: Flexible scheduling options are available. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 2 hours per month for at least three months.
