Writing Supportive Letters or Cards

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Heartland Hospice

  • 5 people are interested

Hospice Volunteers are a valuable member of our Hospice Care Team and can make a difference in the lives of our patients and families.

This opportunity involves writing inspiring and hopeful letters or cards to our patients and their families. It can be completed out of the Office setting.

Volunteer hours are flexible and can include weekends.

We suggest prospective volunteers wait a minimum of one year after the death of a loved one to volunteer. This waiting period will allow healing time and, if necessary, any adjustments to be made after a significant loss.

If you have any questions, or want to apply, please contact Sharon Newbery, Volunteer Coordinator, at (706)860-7374, or sharon.newbery@heartlandhospice.com
