Special Olympics Montana in the Billings Area is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to invite others in their community to participate in the joy-inspiring experience of volunteering with Special Olympics.

The Volunteer Coordinator manages volunteers for sports program and competition opportunities. This position serves in a leadership position on the local board, called the Yellowstone Valley area management team and maintains the various lists of volunteer roles and their assignments, coordinating with local and state volunteers & staff.

Prior experience with a nonprofit organization or sports organization is helpful, but not required. The ability to communicate openly and in a timely manner is needed.

New coordinator orientation and ongoing training provided by Special Olympics Montana staff. This is a volunteer, non-paid position. Allowable expense reimbursements are available.
