Riis Settlement is accepting clothes donations!

Our goal is to recycle unwanted clothing by sharing it to people in need. We accept men, women, and kids clothes. We accept only clean, gently used clothes. Items that have stains and worn out items are not accepted.

Please drop your donations in the Immigrant Services office at 10-25 41st Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101 (blue door on the side from the main Riis Settlement center, office is located in the same building as the supermarket)

Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House is a community based non-profit organization that offers comprehensive services to the youth, adults, seniors and families in the Western Queens Community. The resources, opportunities and support we provide serve as a catalyst for community members to reach their greatest potential and achieve social and economic self-sufficiency.

Description

A multi-service community-based organization in Long Island City Queens, Riis Settlement offers after-school programs for youth, adolescent services, immigrant services, including adult ESOL classes, and Senior Citizen support programs.
