It is time for the STOP-IT New Volunteer Training Winter 2024!
We are currently seeking female-identified individuals to fill our Hotline Volunteer positions. Additionally, volunteers interested in supporting our program through social media outreach, tabling events, and community presentations are welcome to attend.
Please know that in order to ensure we cover all the necessary content, there will be some 'homework' in the form of videos, articles or pre-recorded webinars.
This Volunteer Training session will be held in-person on two consecutive Saturdays: January 18th & 25th from 9 am-4:00 pm. Attendance for both days is required to volunteer with the program.
*Volunteer Training attendance does not guarantee a volunteer position within the STOP-IT Program. A goodness-of-fit interview and assessment is required for all direct service volunteers.
If you are interested in volunteering with the STOP-IT Program, please register by Monday, January 10th.
Please contact the Volunteer Manager at Katelyn.Sulander@usc.salvationarmy.org with questions.
