- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Carpe Librum will be popping up at the Reagan Building for a fundraising book sale on June 26, July 17, August 21, September 18, September 20, October 16 and November 20! We will need volunteers to help us set up our shelves and tables in the morning and and then help us box up the books in the afernoon for this fundraising event. This is a great opportunity to spend an hour or two supporting literacy and positive educational outcomes for students in DC public schools.
Can you lend a hand?
- The first shift is from 8:45am-10am, helping to set up the tables and shelve books according to category.
- The second shift is from 5pm-6pm, helping to pack up books.
If interested, sign up via VolunteerMatch and we will reach out with more details. If you’re interested in helping out at one of our other pop-up book sales around the city, you can view our sale calendar here: https://turningthepage.org/events/. Thank you!
(By the way, we’re not just any bookstore: we’re a fundraising bookstore! Carpe Librum collects donated books, CDs, and DVDs to support the DC nonprofit Turning the Page.
