Landscaping and Walkway

The Society (SHC) of Medina County is in search of volunteers to complete a landscaping project at one of our sites in Wadsworth. The volunteer(s) will be responsible for general landscaping, recreating a walkway and transportation to our group home which serves adults with disabilities. All tools and necessary items needed, will be provided.

This assignment is a one-time only assignment and is expected to be a 2-6-hour project, depending on the number of volunteers. If you have a work group, group of students, Girl or Boy Scout Troop, etc., this would be a great project for you. This project will entail weeding, planting new shrubs or ground cover, and recreating an existing walkway. We are open to ideas on the walkway, so bring your creativity alive!

The Society has been working for individuals with disabilities and their families in the community for over 70 years. This volunteer opportunity would impact the individuals we work for by beautifying the grounds that they call home.
