Spring Landscaping

The Society (SHC) of Medina County is in search of volunteers to complete a landscaping project at one of our sites in Seville. The volunteer(s) will be responsible for landscaping around the existing front porch area and transportation to our group home which serves adults with disabilities. All tools and necessary items needed, will be provided.

This assignment is a one-time only assignment and is expected to be a 2-6-hour project, depending on the number of volunteers. If you have a work group, group of students, Girl or Boy Scout Troop, etc., this would be a great project for you. This project will entail planting new shrubs or ground cover in the existing mulched and weeded area in front of our home.

The Society has been working for individuals with disabilities and their families in the community for over 70 years. This volunteer opportunity would impact the individuals we work for by providing our individuals with a space that feels more like their own home.
