The Spring Mountains National Recreation area is a unique and diverse place to be a host. We are just outside the metropolitan area of Las Vegas, Nevada which means that millions of people look to us as their outdoor recreation source. The SMNRA’s urban location brings us thousands of visitors looking to recreate in our area. Our job is to ensure our visitors are enjoying their experience while they are with us as well as educate them on the ways to properly and safely enjoy their National Recreation Area.


This host position will be located at the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway. Daily duties will be providing information to visitors, answering phones, maintenance and repair of the building, documenting daily visitor counts, and much more.
