CORA’s Safe House program is looking for Spanish Interpreter volunteers to help Spanish speaking domestic violence survivors in San Mateo County receive vital services from CORA. The Safe House Spanish Interpreter volunteer plays a critical role by facilitating communication between a client who speaks Spanish and has limited English proficiency, and our non-Spanish speaking CORA staff. By volunteering for this role, you will be helping Spanish speaking survivors rebuild their stability and safety, and ultimately, you could be saving a life.

CORA’s Safe House team works one-on-one with clients who are fleeing their abusive relationships to provide them with a confidential residential space to heal. During their time at the safe house, clients receive voluntary case management, resources, referrals, and other supportive services to help them during their transition into safe and stable housing.
