Volunteers are needed to help with art classes in our Creative Arts Room. Volunteers help get residents supplies, and are there for encouragement and support. Volunteers can also help transport residents to and from classes and help with some light cleaning and putting supplies away after class ends. No artistic ability is needed, just the ability to be friendly and encouraging.
Art classes take place Monday-Friday. Morning class volunteers are needed from 9:00am-11:30am and afternoon class volunteers are from 1:30-3:30pm. Volunteers can help with either a morning class, an afternoon class, or both on the day of the week that works for them.

Description
The Jewish Home of Rochester was established in 1923. We are a 362-bed facility, which includes a 68-bed Transitional Care rehabilitation program and a 37-bed dementia unit. Our organization also provides a Day Care program, Outpatient Rehabilitation and At Home Services.
