Are you passionate about Salesforce and empowering women in tech? Philly Tech Sistas is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Salesforce Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team. We're dedicated to empowering women of color in tech, and we need your expertise to make our Salesforce training program a success!

About the Role: As a Salesforce Teaching Assistant, you will play a critical role in our live virtual training sessions. Your main responsibility will be to support our learners as they navigate the complexities of Salesforce, providing guidance, answering questions in the chat, and facilitating a positive learning environment. You'll work alongside our experienced instructor and dedicated team, contributing to a program that's making a real difference.

Commitment:

• Availability for 2 to 5 hours a week starting April 2, 2024
• Flexibility to attend live virtual training sessions on a rolling basis
• Training sessions are held Tues & Thurs 6:30pm - 8:30pm ET and Optional Saturday mornings
• Once accepted, we'll have a sign-up sheet for all the volunteers to select which dates and times they are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting live virtual Salesforce training sessions
• Provide support and clarification to participants on Salesforce concepts and practices
• Help manage breakout rooms and group activities during sessions
• Offer feedback to participants and contribute to their learning journey
• Collaborate with instructor and other volunteers to ensure a seamless learning experience

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has a foundation in Salesforce, with practical experience in using the platform
• Is enthusiastic about teaching and empowering others
• Possesses excellent communication skills and a patient, supportive attitude
• Is comfortable with virtual learning platforms and tools
• Believes in our mission of promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry
