Climate Change is an existential threat that may render the Earth uninhabitable for humans.

Army of Volunteers is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to combating climate change. We have about 30 active volunteers from a number of countries. Our strategy is to create a global network of climate volunteers and then to use that network to promote technologies that benefit the climate.

We have seven companies that we are currently promoting, and we expect that list to grow substantially in the future.

We are building a team of engineers and scientists who will have the responsibility of reaching out to universities and small companies that have made advances that can contribute in some way to solve the climate crisis. We seek to form collaborations with some of these teams and to help them grow by finding them customers, suppliers, partners, investors and to support them in other ways.

We need to find a volunteer who would like to coordinate our volunteers’ small-scale outbound calling campaigns where they are reaching out to find customers, suppliers and partners who could benefit from the climate solutions that the companies and universities we’ve discovered are trying to bring to market. Ideally, you have some experience in leading teams who sell technical products to large companies. Being able to help our volunteers to learn how to reach the right person and to explain to them the benefits of what we have to offer is critical.

Climate research and development is taking place in hundreds and probably thousands of places in the world. As we grow our network of technology partners, we are in a position to identify opportunities for many of these development teams.

Many of our volunteers who join our sales and marketing team will learn how to grow a company to become successful in the marketplace. In addition to the technical knowledge they will acquire, many of them will learn to be entrepreneurs.
