Climate Change is an existential threat that may render the Earth uninhabitable for humans. Army of Volunteers is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to combating climate change. We have about 30 active volunteers from a number of countries. Our strategy is to create a global network of climate volunteers and then to use that network to promote technologies that benefit the climate. We have seven companies that we are currently promoting, and we expect that list to grow substantially in the future. Our model is working well. We find it easy to recruit talented volunteers who will donate their time to further our mission. We are finding companies with interesting new technologies that will make a difference for the climate and who are willing to reward our volunteers financially when we help them establish a project. At this point, we are building a team of engineers and scientists who will have the responsibility of reaching out to universities and small companies that have made advances that can contribute in some way to solve the climate crisis. We seek to form collaborations with some of these teams and to help them grow by finding them customers, suppliers, partners, investors and to support them in other ways. The Sales and Marketing Managers we are looking for should have experience in selling technical products to large companies. Being able to reach the right person and to explain to them the benefits of what we have to offer is critical. Climate research and development is taking place in hundreds and probably thousands of places in the world. As we grow our network of technology partners, we are in a position to identify opportunities for many of these development teams. Many of our volunteers who join our sales and marketing team will learn how to grow a company to become successful in the marketplace. In addition to the technical knowledge they will acquire, many of them will learn to be entrepreneurs. Financial Advisor Army of Volunteers is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to combating climate change. We have about 30 active volunteers from a number of countries. We have seven companies that we are currently promoting, and we expect that list to grow substantially in the future. Our model is working well. At this point, we are in need of an advisor who can help us conform to all the financial requirements for a nonprofit company in California. This position requires a solid knowledge of Federal and California financial requirements, in order to advise us, but not a large time commitment We are combatting the greatest challenge that the human race has faced. Our legal advisor should be knowledgeable about Federal and California laws governing nonprofits. We need your legal knowledge but not a large time commitment. Description
Army of Volunteers for Earth works to better the environment. Currently our greatest concern is climate change. We are working to reduce the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere that are causing the Earth's temperature to increase. We are also working on methods of extracting the current high levels of these gases. We are recuiting volunteers globally to educate communities in every country about the opportunity to use new products and technologies to combate climate change.
