Volunteer- Global Explorer Program

ReDefiners is looking for a volunteer for the Global Explorers Program! This program is dedicated to serving K-5 students in after-school programs and providing the following languages to them: Arabic, Spanish and Mandarin. The volunteer will assist in the following:

• Classroom Preparation: Assist teacher in setting up classroom (materials, projector and attendance).
• Classroom Management: Assist teacher in supervising students in class and giving extra help to students who need special accommodations.
• Compliance: Following state, school and class rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact warmly and respectfully with parents or guardians.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to handle and manage paperwork efficiently, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure all forms are completed correctly and without errors.
• Respect for Confidentiality: Understanding the importance of confidentiality and a commitment to maintaining the privacy of the collected information.
• Dependability: Consistent availability during agreed-upon volunteer hours to fulfill responsibilities; reliable transportation.

Schedule & Location:
Monday - Friday from 2:00 - 5:00 PM
All locations in Hillsborough County, specific assignments to be discussed upon application.
Duration:
Beginning January 8

All volunteers must undergo fingerprinting before their first assignment
