Purpose of Position: Support summer program coordinator and/or teachers to ensure students have a safe and fun summer. About the Summer Program: The Summer Spanish Language Immersion and Technology Program is more than just a summer program. It's an opportunity for children to discover new cultures, make new friends, and develop new skills. The program provides children with a summer full of fun and learning. This year's theme " Vamos a Cuba" is a unique summer experience designed for kids who are eager to learn Spanish while they immerse themselves in the rich culture of Cuba. From language lessons to cultural activities and field trips, children have an unforgettable summer filled with adventure and discovery. Duties & Responsibilities: Participate in program orientation on 06/31/2023 at 6:00 PM Assist with activities, crafts, material preparation, outdoor fitness, mealtime Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment following camp guidelines. Experience working with or interacting with children ages 6 to 11. Requirements: Native or Highly Proficient Speaker of English Native or Highly Proficient Speaker of Spanish (optional) Reliable transportation Be willing to undergo a fingerprint background clearance. Energetic Willing to commit to a regular schedule 7:30 am to 12:30 pm OR 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm several days a week for program duration.
