Join us in empowering underserved women across the Greater Los Angeles area! As a Community Liaison volunteer, you'll play a pivotal role in building relationships with partner organizations, fostering connections, and spearheading our partners and allies program. Through development and mentorship opportunities, 50/50 Leadership educates, empowers, and inspires women from underserved communities to become leaders in their lives and communities. Your efforts will amplify awareness, expand our membership, and enhance our collective impact.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with partner organizations
- Act as a liaison, connecting our non-profit with agencies and organizations
- Increase awareness, encourage new membership, and drive support for our cause
- Collaborate on developing a partners and allies program
Requirements:
- Self-starter with a passion for making a difference
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel to agencies or organizations for relationship building (when needed)
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and networking is a plus

Description
Established in 2004, we provide financial literacy programs to young women who have grown up in foster care, been incarcerated, been unhoused, and/or survived gender-based violence. In the past, we led leadership training programs and honored women who are making a difference around the world.
We feel that every girl and woman should have the opportunity to realize their leadership potential. Whether they are a leader in their home, at work, school or in the community.
We are women and men from all walks of life who agree that leadership should reflect the gender of the population: women make up more than half of the U.S. population and should be equally included in boardrooms, elected offices, academia, and all public and private enterprises and endeavors.
