If you enjoy talking on the phone and have time to make a few calls, you may be a perfect Bereavement Telephone Assurance (BTAP) Volunteer. VITAS Healthcare is looking for volunteers to make phone calls to bereaved family members after a hospice patient's death.
These short phone calls go a long way in making a difference in the loves of those coping with grief. Use your compassion, listening skills and your time with training and support from VITAS to give back to your community. The hours are flexible and can be made from your own home. For more information on this opportunity, please contact Emily Jokerst at (314)682-3434 or at Emily.Jokerst@vitas.com.
