Hand-in-Hand Volunteers Needed (Multiple Locations)

The Hand-in-Hand Program provides volunteers to assist the elderly (62 and over) and adults with functional disabilities remain independent in their own homes. Volunteers help with tasks such as:

• Light Housework (cleaning, vacuuming)
• Sewing, Ironing
• Donation Pickup/Drop-off
• Simple Handy Work
• Technology Support (Phones,
• Computers, TV
• Heavy Housework (moving furniture)
• Organizing/Decluttering
• Sorting, Reading Mail
• Paint/Retouch Walls
• Pet Care (Feeding, Grooming, Walking)

Cites Served : Dana Point, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach/Corona del Mar, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano

REQUIREMENTS :

• Must be +18
  • +14 may be accompanied by an adult
• Completed Volunteer Application & background check
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration & proof of insurance for all drivers*
  • *Passengers (non-drivers) do not need driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance
