We are Mentor a Promise, a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to work with students that reside in NYC shelters to create a comprehensive individualized career plan. We have different sites throughout the city. We are committed to facilitating a supportive environment to encourage our students to be active participants in their educational journey through our student-centered learning philosophy. Our program is a testament to this philosophy. We work with all school-aged students while in shelter and after shelter through our online program. While in shelter, we provide a comprehensive academic and emotional support to students in shelter.

We are looking for an outstanding writer to join our team. Your writing will help us speak to different audiences. We need you to break through barriers and synthesize multiple sources of information, weaving together context, concept, and impact for various stakeholders. We need you to get to the root of a problem and find creative solutions. You work well navigating ambiguity. You ask well-posed questions to clarify concepts. We are growing and need your help to support our mission.
