Talent Acquisition Specialist (Remote/Unpaid Volunteer):
Join Empowered Futures as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and be part of our futuristic and innovative Non-Profit organization dedicated to tackling the increasing rate of depression in youth (ages 18 to 28). Through self-empowerment, business mentorship, and support, we strive to build confident, emotionally intelligent, and resourceful adults. At Empowered Futures, we believe in the principles of integrity, goal setting, and responsibility, using them to inspire hope. Despite the complexities associated with this issue, we firmly believe that collective efforts can prevent suicide by instilling healing, raising awareness, and promoting mental health and well-being.
This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on individuals' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Screening resumes and application forms.
- Scheduling and conducting interviews with shortlisted candidates.
- Managing job ads on career pages and other platforms.
- Collaborating with committee members to discuss talent needs.
Qualifications:
- Resides in Canada
- Any previous experience or studies related to Talent Acquisition is an asset.
- Openness to continuous learning.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
