JA needs volunteers in every classroom in all 7 school districts in Brazoria County. Usually the programs require one hour a week for 5-8 weeks depending on the grade level. JA teaches K-12th grade programs. All materials and training is provided. The Campus Coordinator would help to match volunteers up with each teacher at a campus of their choosing. This opportunity would be mostly virtual, but it would require an initial visit to the JA office and a campus visit and potentially another one during the school year. It would also require close contact with the JA office staff that could be done virtually or by phone.
