Volunteer Engagement Team Member

Members of the Volunteer Engagement Team work closely with FNVW’s Volunteer Engagement Specialist to support and enhance the volunteer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Recruiting new volunteers
• Embedding a strengths-based volunteer model into FNVW’s volunteer process
• Providing volunteer appreciation
• Getting volunteer feedback
• Evaluating volunteer performance and providing support as needed
• Continuously evaluating and improving our process for bringing in new volunteers
• Connecting new volunteers to existing volunteers on their team
• Opportunity to develop video and print materials for recruitment purposes

Training and Support

• Orientation to the organization and program
• Directly supported by the Volunteer Engagement Specialist
• Ongoing collaboration with FNVW staff and other volunteers

Time Commitment

• 1 year commitment
• 2-6 hours a month
• Monthly Volunteer Engagement Team meetings
• Ongoing one-on-one or small group meetings
• Location flexible; can work at FNVW office or remotely in metro area
