Support newly arrived clients to meet their basic needs. Volunteers can sign up for tasks such as delivering items to client’s home, transporting clients to appointments or to purchase food and clothing, supporting clients with obtaining their state IDs or applying for social security cards, or providing community navigation support such as visiting local libraries with clients, practicing riding the bus with clients.

  • On-call/as needed. Tasks typically fall during weekday business hours but can include evenings and weekends. Frequent last-minute emails requesting volunteers is the norm.
