Ripples, a community-based development organization operating in Nigeria and Ghana, is seeking a dedicated and creative Volunteer Fundraising Specialist to join our team. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission of creating pathways for women to become key participants in the economy and leaders within their communities.

Your Impact:

• Collaborate with our team to refine and implement fundraising strategies.
• Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns throughout the year, ensuring they align with both organizational and fundraising goals.
• Take charge in creating engaging email marketing campaigns targeting potential donors.
• Analyze fundraising data to identify trends, track progress, and make data-driven decisions to optimize fundraising efforts.
• Work closely with our social media strategist and graphic designers to create content for fundraising campaigns.
• Utilize technology tools and platforms to enhance fundraising efforts, such as CRM systems.
• Build and nurture relationships with donors and supporters.
• Help secure the resources needed to drive positive change in African communities.

Qualifications:

• Passion for Ripples’ Mission
• Fundraising experience or related roles is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey Ripples’ mission and goals to potential donors
• Comfortable using digital tools and technology for email marketing and campaign management
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to achieve fundraising goals
• Availability to dedicate up to 15 hours per week volunteering.
