We do not require vaccinations or testing, however we do provide PPE and training how to use.

Commitment to visiting patients, require 1 hour a week. The days and time to be set up with patient on an individual basis. Must provide own transportation, have valid DL and auto insurance. You are required to complete paperwork after each visit and return via email to myself after each visit.

We have orientation and training, at home and recap in person. I like to meet for coffee for the interview and a little get to know you session. Once that meeting, should you decided to go forward, the application process takes as long as you want it to. You must get a TB test done, drug screening and background check. All will be paid for by the company, provided you go to the proper location. You will be sent orientation paperwork and testing. Once completed and returned to me, then we will recap the learning and get you out to see this patient.

Description

Providing care and comfort to patients. Opportunities include direct patient visitation and administrative support. We provide feedback to schools for volunteer credit. We provide internships for those in nursing and social work. Travel will be limited, with the exception of internships, which may be only to visit different sites. Our goal is to provide companionship as well as socialization to those who express desire to have a volunteer visit. Our scope of activities may be limitless, we help with light housekeeping, running errands, helping with activities, quiet time to reflect and hear life experiences.
