Guest Service Volunteers Needed!

This position supports the Guest Services Team at Vivalon's front desk. Greeting members, volunteers, guests, and staff when they enter our Healthy Aging Center. You will also answer telephones, check people in, and feel the support of a fantastic programs team.

It is an excellent opportunity to connect, engage with people, and learn more about what Vivalon offers to the community.

We are looking for someone friendly, a good listener, and patient.

Description

Vivalon's Active Aging Campus at 999 Third Street in San Rafael provides delicious meals, educational classes, multicultural gatherings, and information and referral services. Vivalon also offers special needs transportation, such as trips to medical appointments and grocery stores, as well as delivering meals for homebound clients. Vivalon is looking for dedicated, caring, and fun-loving volunteers!

We offer volunteer opportunities driving for the Meals on Wheels program and our CarePool program (where volunteers use their own cars to bring individuals to Drs. appointments or grocery shopping). We also have opportunities for outgoing volunteers to help in the Vivalon Cafe.
