The Vet-to-Vet Program aims to pair recruited veteran volunteers with hospice patients who have been identified as veterans. Once paired, veteran volunteers can relate and connect with each patient, creating an environment where life review and healing may occur. According to the We Honor Veterans program, volunteering in hospice can have several benefits. These include:
