Lyngblomsten is seeking kind and reliable volunteer drivers to transport our senior residents on fun and engaging outings!
Here's what you'll do:
- Drive our 13-passenger bus on scheduled outings (no special license required, just a DOT physical we'll cover).
- Take residents to enjoy:
- Lunch dates at local restaurants
- Shopping trips to Target, Cub, or Rosedale
- Farmers markets during the summer
- Seasonal adventures like fall foliage tours, Christmas lights displays, and apple orchards
- Exciting cultural outings to museums and theaters (planned upon securing drivers)
- Other fun group activities (no medical appointments)
What you'll gain:

Qualities we're seeking:
- Valid driver's license (no special CDL required)
- Positive and patient attitude

Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
