We are looking for experienced, skilled and passionate individuals to join our team!

The Human Resources Coordinator is a key role within the foundation and is responsible for many things such as working on bigger outcomes for growth, assisting team leads with building trainings for new volunteers, coordinating new company initiatives, conducting research, building and managing markers to measure success, checking in with volunteers, keeping track of projects within the organization and more. This position will report directly to the Chief Human Resource Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with recruiting, initial screening, and refers qualified candidates to the hiring manager for approved job openings.
  • Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions and duties
  • Working with Team Leads in the Organization to make sure new volunteers are being integrated into the team, checking in with team leads to see if they need any new
  • Meet weekly with the Chief Human Resource Officer and HR Team
  • Brainstorm and work on bigger outcomes (ie. enforcing departmental and organizational goals, and strategies for business growth)
  • Assist the Chief Human Resource Officer and Operations team with clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with the coordination of various Company functions
  • Provides backup to the HR team in their absence.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and orientations.
  • Work on building and overseeing/supervising training for Data Analysts, Software Engineers, etc - make sure that everyone is adjusting well to teams, creates forms for check-ins and reviews, makes sure new volunteers are acclimating well to new teams.
  • Complete various types of project assignments as required.
  • They also conduct employee performance reviews annually or after a probationary period
  • Create, manage and send out weekly check in email and form for all volunteers

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Have thorough understanding of the organization’s goals and mission

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent problem solving abilities

By providing home remodeling, clean energy and technology for families with limited resources we believe it will open doors to the green economy.
