Aviant Hospice is looking for volunteers to visit patients in the southeastern part of Mesa. Trained volunteers go each week or every other week for about an hour. You can play games like cards/checkers/ puzzles together, watch TV, or just have a conversation with the patient.
If you are interested in befriending a patient who is most likely bedbound or not able to leave their home, please contact our volunteer coordinator Corrina at ccasson@avianthospice.com. Also, check your spam folder to see if/when she responds. Or, you can call 480-901-0357.
