Tuck-in Call Volunteers are part of an essential team that call hospice patient living at home once a week to make sure they have all the supplies needed for the weekend. Calls are scripted and take 3-10 minutes each.
Training and Orientation is provided. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about this rewarding volunteer opportunity! Our virtual Tuck-in Call volunteers volunteer 1-2 hours a week.

Our volunteer can make a difference in many ways to improve the life of patients who are facing a life-limiting illness. From direct contact with patients to providing clerical support, the volunteer is an important part of our hospice care team. At Amedisys, we offer comprehensive training and creative ideas. people helping people. that is what giving to hospice care is all about. As a Hospice volunteer and as an important part of our Hospice Care Team, you can help improve the quality of life of our Patients, as well as their family and caregivers.
