This is a six-month volunteer position of a minimum of a one-hour block of time twice weekly. The
individual(s) will provide one-on-one tutoring for someone who wishes to learn how to read and/or speak
English or improve upon what they already know.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Ability, and Experience:
- Volunteers must have completed or agree to complete ProLiteracy's or the Florida Literacy Coalition's ESL Tutor Training Online Workshop. Information regarding how to complete the workshop will be provided.
- Volunteers must exhibit empathy and patience.
- Volunteers need to be able to use a computer in order to perform the functions of this role.

We are a small municipal library dedicated to serving our community. At present we have six full time employees, two of whom are professional librarians.
