Volunteer United/AmeriCorps Seniors recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County matching volunteer interests and skills to create a meaningful, rewarding volunteer experience.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is providing temporary assistance, hospitality and case management for families with children experiencing homelessness.
Volunteers are needed to assist as a Family Center Angel. Duties include opening the center to allow families to do laundry and chores on the weekend.
Hours needed: Saturday 2:00PM - 5:00PM
Sunday 9:00AM - 12:00PM or 12:00PM - 4:00PM
Background check required at agency expense.
