Fresh air, some good friends, and a little bit of exercise. Is that part of your daily routine? You can turn that practice into a meaningful volunteer position with us!

We are looking for older adults (age 55+) who are willing to lead walking groups within their communities 2 times a week. Walk with RSVP is a program that focuses on combatting social isolation and improving overall health through physical activity and health education. Instructors will be responsible for leading a warm up, a 10-30 minute walk, a cool down, and fun group discussions.

We will host quarterly trainings to teach about group management, discussion topics, and more!

If you are interested in finding out more about this fun and meaningful opportunity, please reach out at 805-385-8019 or send us an email at rsvp@oxnard.org. Walk with you soon!
