Do you enjoy engaging in conversation with others? listening to music? telling jokes? Inspiring others? We have volunteer opportunities available for companionship to our hospice patients. We are looking for compassionate, sympathetic, detail-oriented, kind-hearted individuals to visit some of our hospice patients on a regular basis. Visiting hospice patients consists of, but is not limited to.... playing games, active listening, reading, playing music, reminiscing, calling patients, making cards/crafts, encouraging patients to participate in programs, etc. Here at Gentiva, we strive to provide the best care to our patients and that's not possible without our awesome team of volunteers! Come join our team!
